Mark Menard

Mark is an extremely active member of the technology community in the Tech Valley region. He has been an invited guest speaker at technology events, having spoken at Tech Valley Code Camp, Tech Valley Ruby Brigade, Capital District Java Developers Network, and other groups and conferences on a broad range of software development and technology topics.

Before founding Enable Labs, Mark Menard was a principal, Vice-president and the Chief Technology Officer at, a web and application consultancy in East Chatham, NY. At, Mark oversaw all technologies and acted as lead developer on many web site development and application development projects. Highlights of Mark’s work at include the creation of SLIMS, a web-based ERP system for importers and distributors of bulk pre-manufactured commodities; Color for Real Estate, an online order processing system for the largest custom color printing business in the United States; Ask PSC, an online knowledge base system designed for the New York State Public Service Commission; and the website for The Omega Institute the nation's most trusted source for wellness and personal growth.

Over Mark’s career in software, the systems and websites he has directly developed have processed hundreds of thousands of transactions valued in the billions of dollars. His dedication to life long learning and technological improvement have kept him on the cutting edge of software development.

Outside of technology, Mark is an avid Freemason, having served his Lodge as Master and Secretary, and currently serves as Chaplain. Mark has served on his Grand Lodge of New York’s Technology Committee for eight years.

Mark is married to Sylva, and has two sons, Ezra and Avi.
